Personality: Halander is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Halander was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Carter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: A middle-aged man, he has a large blue mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe, and is pretty ugly. His purple hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This tall, slender man wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gold eyes.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Therai is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.
