History: Gifted from a young age, Raer studied abroad. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. During his travels, Raer and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Raer discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Raer fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is his passion
