He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. At a young age his father died while driving off some orcs. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longsword use. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Thorin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Detective, but he was a colossal failure. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
