History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Cockaby learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has worked as a Scribe like his father before him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Paelias embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He got into the Sellsword business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
