History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is cut short. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and money/treasure

Description: He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull green iron scale mail. He carries a battered shortspear and tarnished nunchaku as well. He keeps his black hair in a flapper bob. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
