History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. Halimath liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a black collared shirt and violet pants. He accessorizes with a brown scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed black hat.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
