Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Xappan was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dilettante. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
