He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Chem was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Mehen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Valafar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
