History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by unlife.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east.
