History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Marshal father left him crippled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Merihim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
