Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His chestnut hair and beard is wavy and long. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Ruler. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'4". He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He keeps his dark red hair in a flapper bob. His fierce white eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: This tall, slender man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His silver hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. At a young age his father died while driving off some gnolls. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

History: Hugh was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carter and was forced into it by his family.
