History: Grumbar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Pirithin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Brewer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
