History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rael grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rael. Being a Blacksmith kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second son.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Description: This late middle aged man is dressed in an above average manner and is in decent physical shape. He has done his best to style his auburn hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He is a Actor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
