History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Veit enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Veit was raised in a hard working conservative environment. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is light but he possesses many green ritualistic tattoos. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length golden hair. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
