During his travels, Soveliss and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Soveliss discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Soveliss fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicor fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Aerdeth never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
