History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Heian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Heian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A middle-aged man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are red.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 78. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Solomon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Solomon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Solomon. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
