History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Qualen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep white leather and dull grey iron scale mail. His brown fur is singed and shortened. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural tabaxi artifacts is his passion

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), and is pretty ugly. His white fur is long and unkept. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines copper.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
