He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
