Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. Faran is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He got into the Mercenary business at a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mercenary and was forced into it by his family; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.
