History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Flame's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Flame was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
