History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Quarion and his spouse have recently divorced.

He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
