History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with his Actor father left him crippled. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Gifted from a young age, Faran studied abroad. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Gardain was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gardain's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gardain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
