History: Born in the east to a Painter, Darrak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. After a long history of fighting, Darrak and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Valafar was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valafar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
