History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a white and grey handkerchief worn on his right side. He is physically well-built. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length orange fur. He has gleaming, smiling yellow eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. The war was a terrible time for him, and Emerald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Emerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gorbundus has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
