History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
