Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Lance was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Zâthra's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mason but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the north to a Mason, Zâthra learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mason. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
