History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rurik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Leaf's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor
