History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Kellen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Being a Butcher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored.
