Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He got into the Dilettante business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He has achieved small success as a Dilettante.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is an amazing painter.

History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
