History: Ar-Kaius hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Through the years after Ar-Kaius was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Ar-Kaius's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Mindartis was born the youngest of three triplets. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wants to open a new tavern
