He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was born in the west. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
