Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Beiro alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Beiro was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
