History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Masseuse, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Adventurer and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
