Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born in a small island village. Barfa was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Barfa decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his greatsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: This man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on his right hand. His hair is cut close to his head. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
