History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Fragrant was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born in the north to a Bowyer, Valafar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tanglar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
