History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
