History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Butcher and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly greatswords and lances. He wears his red hair down. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Osco enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He got into the Cook business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Osco grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Osco. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
