When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
