History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hoglik will drive conversation. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Hoglik lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to unite with his sister

History: Born to a Bricklayer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
