Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the west to a Carpenter, Qualen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Brewer, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
