History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He usually wears his red robe and has his trident always slung over his shoulder. His hair is short and black. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Skog is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the east to a Guard, Skog learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
