History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Diggory's homeland. Diggory decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his daughter
