Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balam grew up listening to his father's many stories. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care.
