His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Taklinn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Taklinn. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
