Personality: Paelias wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Ribbles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ribbles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns.
