Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull black iron scale mail, marred by beers. His brown hair is still thick. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Miner business.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Description: A middle-aged man, he typically wears white cloth garments or leather armor, and is pretty ugly. His fur is orange and curly. He has green eyes.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Gifted from a young age, Arannis studied abroad. His childhood dream was to be a Assassin, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His bronze crest is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gold.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shedinn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His first spouse was a Barrister, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Locksmith and was forced into it by his family.
