Description: He is a mite stocky and has the majority of his body covered in plate. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. He is baby faced.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: Dustin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: This man wears brown trousers with blue and green striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His rusty crest is lengthy. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered black stockings. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He was born in a small plains village. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He tends to his Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Laborer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Laborer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.
