Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat, and is pretty ugly. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Bernard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the right. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. Gerbo is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a sellsword and was forced into it by his family

Description: 5'10" and muscular, this northern man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born in the south. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He became a Dyer soon after.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
