History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Oppleby hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Oppleby was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and someone believes him a fraud
