History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he has the majority of his body covered in plate. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his small tan hat.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Map Maker born in the past three hundred years. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He got into the Map Maker business at a young age. Uthemar was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears an entirely grey suit with red socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Ploughman who has hired him part-time. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'8" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has done his best to style his golden hair to look like a famous performer. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
